It was a bright and promising morning when I embarked on my journey as a student at EMPAC, specifically at the Akasti branch in the scenic Volta Region. Excitement and a touch of nervousness coursed through me as I approached the school gates, ready to dive into the world of Computer Studies.

As I entered the campus, I was warmly welcomed by one of the lecturers, who set the tone for a memorable first day. This lecturer introduced us to the entire teaching staff, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and inclusivity right from the start. It was reassuring to see friendly faces eager to guide us through our educational journey.

Following the introductions, our dedicated lecturers took us through an orientation session. During this informative session, they meticulously outlined all the rules and regulations of the school. These guidelines were not just about discipline, but also about fostering an environment that encourages creativity and innovation. They also shared valuable advice, emphasizing the importance of dedication and perseverance in the world of design.

With our minds enriched by this orientation, we were introduced to our very first topic: "How to Use Microsoft Word for 2D Design." Our lecturer for this introductory session was none other than Sir Redeemer. He began by delving into the theory aspect of graphic design, shedding light on its significance in the modern world. His passion for the subject was contagious, and it instantly sparked our interest and curiosity.

Throughout the session, Sir Redeemer meticulously explained the fundamentals of graphic design, showcasing how Microsoft Word could be harnessed as a powerful tool in the creative process. His insights were not only insightful but also practical, providing us with a solid foundation for our journey into the realm of design.

As I reflected on this eventful first day at EMPAC, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the warm welcome, guidance, and knowledge that had been bestowed upon me. The school, with its multiple branches, was undoubtedly a hub of creativity and learning, and I was excited to be a part of this vibrant community.
